Our mission is to cultivate a community of passionate ethical hackers at Stevenson University by providing a collaborative learning environment for students to develop their cybersecurity skills, explore responsible hacking practices, and prepare for careers in information security.
Through weekly meetings, speaker events, CTF Competitions, and various other activities, we teach students how to find and use tools needed to be successful with ethical hacking.
CTFs, short for Capture-The-Flag Competitions, are Jeopardy-style cybersecurity competitions. Each competition covers multiple focus areas through 4-6 categories with their own individual challenges. These categories include cryptography, forensics, network reconnaissance, and web exploitation, to name a few.
